Mission and Objectives
Mission:
Hi-Power Academy’s mission is to deliver high-quality, faith-guided healthcare education tailored to aspiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). We provide hands-on training and a supportive learning environment that prepares students for compassionate, skilled service in healthcare. Our graduates emerge with the confidence, competence, and integrity needed to make a positive impact in the lives of those they serve.

Our objective is to offer practical, career-focused healthcare education designed for individuals pursuing a rewarding future as CNAs and licensed vocational nurses. We aim to equip students with essential clinical skills, ethical values, and professional readiness, ensuring they excel in various healthcare settings. Graduates of Hi-Power Academy are prepared for stable, fulfilling employment, meeting the high demand for compassionate, skilled caregivers.

Admission Requirements: A person who applies to Hi-Power Academy must be 16 years or older, possess a high school diploma or equivalent. All applicants must complete an application form and schedule an appointment with the school for a short meeting before enrollment. Applicants will fill out the enrollment form, contract form, and make sure they are able to obtain a physical examination, live scan fingerprints upon admission. Applicants will also require a tuberculosis (TB) test or X-Ray or QuantiFERON Gold if tested positive for TB test.
CNA Program Fees $1683.15 and Additional Requirements
Program Fee Breakdown $1683.15:
- Registration Fee: $183.15 (non-refundable)
- Tuition Fee: $1,350
- Estimated State Test Fee: $125 (paid at the end of the class for the state exam)
- Live Scan Fingerprinting: $25 (estimated cost)
Total Amount Due Today: $1,533.15

Cancellation, Withdrawal, and Refund Policy
- Students are entitled to cancel the enrollment agreement and receive a full refund of charges if the cancellation occurs at least five business days prior to the first-class session, and 70% of the total fees paid if student cancels within five days of the class commencement. Cancellation or withdrawal procedures require that a written notice be submitted to support@hi-poweracademy.com email within the initial five days of the class. No refunds will be issued without a written email notice. No refund will be issued after the fifth day of class.
- If the school cancels the program for not meeting the minimum number of 15 students, all fees paid will be refunded to the student within 30 days. Students will not be required to request a refund.
- Students exited Administratively from the program will receive NO refund.
- Method of refund: The refund process will begin after students sends an email to Support@hi-poweracademy.com. The business office will write and mail a check to the student’s address on file.
Additional Costs and Requirements for each student:
- Medical Requirements (to be completed with your healthcare provider):
- Physical examination (Completed within last 6 Months)
- Two step TB test (or X-ray if TB test is positive) (completed within last 3 Months)
- Flu shot (required November–March or as mandated by CDPH)
- Additional vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, and TDAP) as required by specific clinical facilities
- Uniform and Equipment:
- 2 sets of red uniforms.
- 1 stethoscope
- 1 blood pressure cuff
- 1 gait belt
- Secondhand watch

Requirements and Guidelines for Completing the CNA Course
To successfully complete the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course, Hi-Power requires the following from each student:
- Technical Requirements:
- A computer equipped with Chrome, Safari, or any internet-supported browser.
- A functional webcam for online participation.
- Theory Session:
- Each student must complete a theory session before joining a clinical session.
- You will have 3–4 weeks to complete the self-paced theory coursework to qualify for clinical training.
- Clinical Sessions:
- Clinical sites are currently available in Yuba City and Live Oak City, with plans to expand to additional locations for convenience.
- Contact us to suggest a clinical site near your location.
- Learning Format:
- Theory classes are self-paced and accessible online 24/7.
- Live, instructor-led online classes will be introduced soon.
- In case of technical issues, alternate solutions will be provided to ensure students meet the required theory hours.
- Attendance Policy:
- Clinical sessions allow for only one excused absence, which must be made up as per the schedule.
- Students are strongly encouraged to attend all clinical days.
- Performance Expectations:
- Theory coursework must be completed within the 3–4 weeks deadline with a minimum score of 80% or higher.
- Clinical classes will have a maximum of 15 students per session to ensure quality instruction.

International Students
Hi-Power Academy provides neither visa services nor vouch for student status. All courses are conducted in English, and a minimum TOEFL score of 70 or evaluated high school diploma maybe required for non-native speakers.
Completion Requirements: Successful completion of all courses, passing of final exams with 80% or above, completion of 60 theory and 100 clinical hours is required.
Accreditation Status
- Hi-Power Academy is pending approval for accreditation by the California department of Health (CDPH).
Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF)
- Students paying tuition are obligated to contribute to the state-mandated Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF). This fund is designed to alleviate or lessen the financial loss experienced by students in educational programs at qualifying institutions, which can occur due to the institution’s closure, its failure to pay refunds, or other disruptions in education. For comprehensive details on how to file a claim, please see 5, CCR §76215.

Financial Aid Information
- Hi-Power Academy does not currently participate in federal and state financial aid programs. Our friendly administrative officers will help you to make deferred payments that suits your ability.
Standards for Student Achievement
- Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 80% to remain in good academic standing.
Probation and Dismissal Policies
- Students failing to maintain satisfactory academic progress may be placed on probation. Continued failure to meet academic standards may result in dismissal from the program.
Attendance, Absenteeism, and Makeup Hours
Students may request a leave of absence for legitimate reasons. The request must be submitted in writing and receive approval from the administrator. Returning to class is contingent upon the availability of class openings.
- Attendance Requirement: Students must maintain 100% attendance to successfully complete the course.
- Makeup Classes: Limited opportunities for makeup classes are available and must be arranged in coordination with the respective instructors.
- Graduation Requirement: Students must complete 100 clinical hours, as outlined in the training schedule, to graduate from the program.
- Makeup Hour Limit: Students are allowed to make up a maximum of 8 clinical hours.
- Class Session Record: Students must sign in and out for each class session attended.
- Theory Completion Requirement: Students must complete all online theory hours before participating in clinical sessions. No makeup hours will be given for the theory self-paced online classes. Students are responsible to complete all theory classes before the clinical sessions.

Sexual Harassment
Hi-Power Academy has a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment. Any such act is deemed a grave offense and may result in disciplinary measures, including the possibility of expelling the perpetrator. According to the Education Code, sexual harassment is defined as any unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature, which occurs in the educational setting and meets any of the following conditions:
- Submission to such conduct is either explicitly or implicitly made a condition for an individual’s academic standing or progress.
- The decision to accept or reject such conduct is used as a basis for making academic decisions that affect the individual.
- The conduct negatively affects the individual’s work or academic performance, or creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive educational environment.
- The decision to accept or reject such conduct is used as a basis for any decision affecting the individual’s access to benefits, services, honors, programs, or activities offered at or through the institution.
Any individual who believes they have experienced or witnessed harassment is encouraged to report the incident immediately to their instructor or director.
Drug-Free Campus Policy
All Hi-Power facilities have been (will be) designated as non-smoking areas. Students are prohibited from smoking or using tobacco products while on school premises.
